Annual Awards Gala Nomination Form

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE (10 EMPLOYEES OR LESS): The award will be presented to a business with 10 employees or less who deserves to be recognized for their business goals, exceptional customer service, positive business growth, overall positive impact on the community through spirit, drive and vision.

Nomination Forms are due at the chamber office by Friday, March 06, 2026

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE (11 EMPLOYEES OR MORE): The award will be presented to a business with 11 employees or more who deserves to be recognized for their business goals, exceptional customer service, positive business growth, overall positive impact on the community through spirit, drive and vision.

ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR: The Award will be presented to celebrate an entrepreneur that has been in business for at least three years. They will be recognized for their staffing and employee quality growth, quality control, marketing strategies, expansions/innovative ideas, overall contribution, and impact on the community.

NON-PROFIT OF THE YEAR: The Award will be presented to a Non-Profit Organization that is fulfilling its mission in the community and making contributions to its well-being; socially, culturally, physically, economically, and ethically. They will be recognized for their fulfilment of the organization’s mission, goals and/or objectives and overall contribution and impact on the community.

Award Guidelines:

  • Selection Committee: The Altona & District Chamber of Commerce Chair, ARED President, Mayor of Altona & Reeve of the Municipality of Rhineland.

  • A business /entrepreneur/organization is not eligible to enter a category in which they have been an award recipient within the past three years.

  • A business/entrepreneur/organization may self-nominate or be nominated by another party.

  • In the event that a business/entrepreneur/organization is nominated in more than one category, the nominee will be contacted and asked to confirm in which award category they wish to remain nominated for (one category only).

  • All nominees will be required to complete and submit a Nominee Information Form to finalize their nomination.

  • Award recipients will be announced prior to the Annual Awards Gala.
